Patients undergoing rhinoplasty may occasionally need a narrowing of the nostrils. The ideal width of the nostrils should be the distance between the eyes.
This procedure is known as ” alar base reduction “, and can be performed in several ways.
My method involves making a small incision inside the nostril and narrowing it from the inside. I believe this to be a better technique because there are no incisions or scars visible from the outside.
